December 7, 2020
Lacombe Police are seeking the publics assistance to identify the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run that occurred in front of Cilantro and Chive on Thursday, November 19th, 2020.
- The vehicle is a 2017 Subaru Forester 2.0XT in “Metallic Jasmine Green”
- The male driver appears to be in his early 20’s, shoulder length dirty blond hair, and wearing a University of Lethbridge sweatshirt.

September 28, 2020
On September 28th, 2020, the Lacombe Police Service received a complaint of a theft of a wallet from a vehicle that had been parked at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club. A bank card from the stolen wallet was used a short time later at a local business in Lacombe.
The Lacombe Police are attempting to identify the following three individuals.

July 21, 2020
Sometime overnight on 19 July, 2020, a John Deer skid steer was stolen from Pentagon Farm Equipment in Lacombe. The skid steer was described as a 1999 John Deere 270, yellow in color. If you recognize the truck used in this theft, please contact the Lacombe Police Service.
June 4, 2020
On June 4, 2020 The Lacombe Police Service responded to Lacombe Ford after receiving reports of a theft of tail lights from a 2020 Ford F350 valued at approx. $1600.00.
Video surveillance was obtained and shows a older model white Ford Super Duty 1999-2004 pull into the Lacombe Ford lot at 0826hrs on the day of June 3, 2020. A male exited the vehicle wearing a red shirt, Dark colored pants, and a black baseball hat with a white panel on the front.
The vehicle used in the theft appears to have aftermarket mud flaps attached as well as a small white slip tank in the rear. The male was seen removing the tail lights of the pickup truck on the lot before returning to his own vehicle holding two tail lights and leaving the lot at 0833hrs.

Lacombe Police Service is seeking assistance in attempting to identify the below pictured male or vehicle. The above male is believed to be linked to the theft of a black Kia Sorento, from Red Deer, AB on 20JAN31. It is believed the male then used the vehicle to travel to Lacombe where at approximately 0900 hours on 20FEB01 the male stole a bicycle from a bike rack at BURMAN UNIVERSITY in Lacombe, AB. It is believed the suspect(s) then later gained entry to a vehicle in a separate incident near 50 Mackenzie Ranch Way, Lacombe, AB. Various items were taken from the vehicle before it fled the scene shortly after. The vehicle was also seen involved in a theft of tools from Blackfalds, AB earlier in the day as well, and then later abandoned and recovered near Red Deer, AB.
January 8, 2020
Lacombe Police Member was on patrol on December 22nd at approximately 0412 hrs and noticed a silver SUV, Possible a Jeep Liberty that was backed into the Circle K convenient store. Male driver and female exit the store and got into the vehicle. They exited the parking lot and turned West on Hwy 12. A traffic stop was attempted and the vehicle did not stop for police.
The vehicle continued to increase their speed to 138 KPH through town toward Highway 2. Video obtained from Circle K store revealed a male with long hair and female with long brown hair.
January 2, 2020
On December 18, 2019 staff at HANNA SEEDS in Lacombe called to report that someone broke into the fenced compound behind the building by cutting the fence, once inside they stole gas out of a 1997 Green Chevrolet parked in the compound. Video obtained showed an extended cab Dodge truck with a slip tank pull up at 0552 hrs 2 unknown suspect/s got out and cut the fence, then left returning at 0604 hrs stole the fuel from the truck. No plate obtained.
December 20, 2019
On December 10th, 2019, the Lacombe Police Service received a complaint of a theft from the Co-Op English Estates liquor store located in Lacombe, AB.
A male had entered the business, selected two (2) bottles of Alberta Pure Vodka and proceeded to the check out counter. Once at the counter the male asked for a price check on another item. While the clerk was doing the price check the male picked up the two bottles of Vodka and fled the business without paying for the items and then got into a dark colored SUV and drove away.

November 18th, 2019
On November 18, 2019 the Lacombe Police Service was dispatched to a vehicle explosion in the parking lot on Highway 2a in Lacombe. When police arrived the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. After reviewing the video footage obtained from a local business the fire was found to be deliberately set.
The vehicles used to depart the scene were described as a dark colored ford pickup truck with tonneau cover and silver step up rails.

October 12th, 2019
On October 12th, 2019 at 09:00 hours, the Lacombe Police Service received a complaint of a Break and Enter to the Lacombe Centre Mall located at 5230 45 Avenue in Lacombe.
Investigation determined that once inside the mall, two unknown suspects gained entry to Lacombe Audio Visual by cutting open the storefront security gate using a pair of bolt cutters. The unknown suspects proceeded to steal several laptops, tablets, watches and home theatre receivers totalling approximately $13,000 before exiting the business. The unknown suspects are captured on video leaving the parking lot in a white colored heavy duty truck.
